MONTHLY MEETING OF THE ARTISTS - THURSDAY MARCH 12th 6:00 PM @ The Harding Centre -267 West Center St. Marion

MONTHLY MEETING OF THE ARTISTS
MARCH 12th, 2015 – 6:00pm
HARDING CENTRE’

MID-OHIO FINE ART SOCIETY
Bridging the gap between creativity and business.
“Instead of selling originals or selling designs outright, many artists will grant the right (license) to use their art on a specific product, for a set time period in exchange for a percentage of sales. By licensing instead of selling art, there is the potential to earn income on the same piece of art or collection of art multiple times.”
Tara Reed, art consultant.

MID-OHIO FINE ART SOCIETY INC.
Is pleased to present:
Ms. Sandy Laippley – Sandy will cover her own experiences with licensing her art, the how’s, why’s and why not’s of selling your art on a product over and over in a corporate business vs a single sale of a single piece. Sandy teaches wine and watercolor classes and has her art on exhibit and for sale at the Guild, in Marion, Ohio.
Mr. Glenn Butterman – Glenn has successfully marketed his own and others art work online for some time now. Glenn will present his concerns and solutions to protecting his art online using some simple techniques that he has learned through experience, trial and error. He is member of the Marion Photo Club and a member to be of the Mid-Ohio Fine Art Society Inc.
